EVA sole material

The material used for EVA shoe soles is ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer (also known as ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer), which is made from the copolymerization of ethylene (E) and vinyl acetate (VA). The full English name is: Ethylene Vinyl Acetate. Abbreviated as EVA, the content ranges from 5% to 40%. Compared to polyethylene, EVA reduces high crystallinity by introducing vinyl acetate monomers into the molecular chain, thereby improving flexibility, impact resistance, compatibility with fillers, and thermal sealing performance. It is widely used in fields such as foam shoe materials, functional greenhouse films, packaging films, hot melt adhesives, wires and cables, and toys.
EVA shoe soles refer to shoe soles made from EVA material. EVA shoe soles have high resilience and tensile strength, high toughness, and possess good shock absorption and cushioning properties. They have excellent thermal insulation and cold resistance, can withstand severe cold, have closed-cell foam structure, good sound insulation effect, do not absorb water, are moisture-proof, have good water resistance, and are resistant to corrosion from seawater, oils, acids, bases, and other chemicals. They are also antibacterial, non-toxic, and odorless.

The key to a good pair of shoes lies in the sole.

When choosing shoes, the first thing everyone looks at is the appearance of the shoes. The overall look and color combination of a pair of shoes are what attract people's attention.
