How to clean rubber-soled shoes?
Rubber soles are made from natural rubber or synthetic rubber. Since rubber is a type of polymer compound, rubber-soled shoes have high elasticity and high wear resistance, able to withstand multiple bends, stretches, and compressions without damage. They also have acid and alkali resistance, making them suitable for rainy days. Most sports shoes on the market now use rubber soles, such as basketball shoes, football shoes, and tennis shoes. Because these are all high-intensity sports, they require highly wear-resistant rubber soles.
Rubber soles are prone to aging, so rubber-soled shoes require good maintenance and cleaning.
Tools
1. A soft cloth
2. A small toothbrush
3. A bottle of cleaning agent
Methods
1. Rubber-soled shoes need regular cleaning. When the shoe surface is dirty, gently wipe it with a soft cloth dampened with water.
2. If the sole is made of white rubber and gets dirty, it is difficult to clean. Use a small toothbrush dipped in cleaning agent to gently scrub, then wipe with a dry cloth.
3. Maintain more than two pairs of interchangeable shoes to allow them to rest alternately.
4. When not in use, remove the insoles and place the shoes in a dry, ventilated area to allow them to release heat and regain their shape.
5. If not used for a long time, clean and dry them, then wrap them in paper and store them in a dry place.
Precautions
1. Do not scrub vigorously with a brush, and do not use bleach when cleaning.
2. Avoid water infiltration, exposure to direct sunlight, and heat; after washing, avoid direct sunlight to prevent aging, deformation, fading, and mesh breakage.
3. Avoid contact with sharp objects and chemicals. Try to avoid squeezing to keep the shoes in their original shape.
The key to a good pair of shoes lies in the sole.
When choosing shoes, the first thing everyone looks at is the appearance of the shoes. The overall look and color combination of a pair of shoes are what attract people's attention.
